The seller has stated the Type 2 sling as double sided, very similar to the Type 1 sling but both sides are leather and not one side is leather but the other is canvas. In my confusion as to which side is which, I contacted the seller and they told me it was a disposable sling only. If I knew that, I could spend a few more dollars and get what I wanted the first time. I've already tried unsuccessfully because I'm obviously ruining any progress I've made on one side by trying to use the other…

I bought this to improve the sharpness of the blades, judging by the photos it looks very high quality and is a bit heavy. Once you get your hands on it and use it, this thing becomes feather light and feels almost nothing. You can tell it's not very quality oriented, it's serviceable, but don't expect it to be of the same quality as a hair salon or your grandfather's. Almost feels like cardboard. I used it once and the emblem fell off. I rated it 3 stars because it really works.

Not Recommended. It's leather, but almost like suede. The sling will only be useful for a few uses. The handle of the sling is actually made of more durable leather than the surface of the sling. Although it looks nice.

Well made but slightly shorter than traditional slings. It works pretty well, but as I said, it's a short line and takes some getting used to. I'm not kicking it to the curb, but maybe I'll be happier with the purchase after getting used to using the shorter stop.
