Although it smells good, butter and butterrum smell much better. The product must contain wax or something else to make the taste different. Sometimes I apply some oil afterwards, but it makes it almost too greasy because the oil doesn't absorb after the balm. Although I really like the smell. The fixation isn't the best for a balm, but I love the smell of bay rum. It makes your beard shine and the hold lasts for hours. Softens the beard well and moisturizes the skin underneath.

Great product. Excellent price. The smell of bay rum is a little different than what I usually buy, but I like the smell. It's not overwhelmingly or chemically sweet. The product blends well with my beard and doesn't dry out or leave sticky balls of wax in my hair. I recommend this product to anyone who cares about their facial hair.

Just received the product today. The smell is strong, I hope it fades a little. I have used Honest Amish before, it smells nice and is very pleasant. I used a fork to break up this balm because it's hard. why is it heavy? The branding is cool, but we'll see how it goes for 4 oz.

I like this balm. Nothing really tames my wiry beard, but this one does a decent job. I really like that it has twice the amount of product compared to other products. It smells great, if that's your concern. I will be using this product from now on.

Very pleasant beard care balm with a pleasantly mild scent. I bought this balm because I'm a fan of anything that smells like "Bay Rum" but when I first opened the tin I couldn't smell Bay Rum.
