I needed pegs for our tent and just wanted something light. Unfortunately I bent about half of them and tried to stick them into the ground. To be fair to the product, the ground was rocky. The special thing about thin wire pegs is that they can be bent back into shape. If you use them in soft ground they will probably be fine. otherwise I recommend a stronger bet.

I had such high hopes and they were immediately disappointed when we put our foot on the spike to drive it into the ground and immediately folded it in half. I know you have to use a hammer, which is what I did with the others. However, they are not heavy-duty and can be bent very easily. On the other hand, you can also bend them back. But that defeats the whole purpose. I'll make them work. They are light and cheap. I wouldn't buy them again.

I used these as pegs for small trees and to hold a log in place. They are strong and will not bend when driven into the ground. For landscape logs (4x4) I would drive a stake into the ground and then drive the bent end into the wood. Has worked every time and holds the wood in place perfectly. I am impressed that they are suitable for many purposes. They are advertised and recommended.

They work great even when you experience forces opposite or perpendicular to gravity. I was held firmly in place and didn't drift with those wonderful friction-enhancing gravity-enhancing additives. The wind shear forces were completely suppressed and my personal belongings stayed where they were intended. I wish I had used them on my bins last year before a direct wind blew them all over to my neighbor who claims they were always his.

I live in Arizona and the ground is hard, very hard. We had rain so it was time to rearrange some of the 'lawn' decorations that fought in the wind during the monsoon. I've used 1/4" aluminum 7" posts in the past, they all bent before reaching the desired 7" depth. So I tried these. . Displaced a little, the next bent, but 1 inch short of completion, notched. The third is bent 1/2 down, useless. Slightly shifted, bent further after about 3 cm and bent about 30 degrees, rubbish. Moved again…
