Great product for my opinion

Just like Scott toilet paper, but better because it's recycled. One roll lasts me as least twice as long as the fluffy brands, like Seventh Generation.

Pros
  • Household Supplies
Cons
  • The rolls may be smaller than some consumers are used to

Badly handled: my feedback

The protective paper covering the rolls was torn away and one of the rolls had a dark gray watery stain a few sheets in. I hope future shipments are stored and shipped with greater care, as I like that this product uses 100% post-consumer paper.

Pros
  • Grateful there’s a Scott-like toilet paper that is 100% recycled! Love the 1000 sheet roll
Cons
  • The price is higher than non-eco-friendly toilet paper

$$$ pricey! $$$ - my new review

The lack of stars is for this price, not for the product. I love Marcal and it's all I've used for years. (Seriously, waste "virgin" paper for *that* use?)But the single roll price in the store is less expensive than this "bargain" package. I've never paid more than $.89/roll for the 1-ply individually wrapped 1000-sheet version. And that's when it's NOT on sale, and it's one roll at a time. Get the 20-pack in the grocery store and it's even less expensive, also when not even on sale!

Pros
  • Pretty good. Some rolls are smashed and not rolling smoothly but we can easily fix it too.
Cons
  • Ok. A little thin

Not environmentally-friendly

I purchased this because I was trying to be as environmentally-friendly as possible. However, the toilet paper comes wrapped in plastic, despite the pictures showing that they would not be when put in the box. Will not be purchasing this again.

Pros
  • Just what it said and what I wanted
Cons
  • My family hates this tissue. Will not buy again.

Waste of money!: my feedback

I used to buy this paper regularly but the quality has gone right down the toilet. First of all, the tube has shrunk, so you are getting less than before. The roll now slides around on the toilet paper holder because the width has been significantly reduced. Second, in order to start a new roll you have to dig several layers into the paper because they are seared together and otherwise come off in your hand as thin ribbon/shards of paper. Lastly, the roll barely lasts a day in my household. It…

Pros
  • Great value, 1 ply, 100% recycled toilet paper. What more can you ask for?
Cons
  • It may not be available in all stores

My Rating for Marcal has lessened

I've ordered Marcal 1 ply recycled toilet paper for years. However, I noticed on my last shipment that even though it is still 1000 sheets, it doesn't feel as tightly bound on a roll as before. It's more loose and a roll doesn't seem to last as long. Not sure why. It used to be like Scott's tissue which I love but probably won't use since it is not 100% recycled. Each roll of Scott's was firmly packed and lasted a long time. I will give Marcal another shot.next time I may try 7th Generation…

Pros
  • product. this case the quality was just OK
Cons
  • The sheets may tear easily

Basic but adequate, cheap, and recycled

Very basic but does the job. I hate spending a lot of money on something you use once then "send down the toilet"; at 1000 sheets per roll this stuff last forever, and the fact that it is made of 100% recycled paper is a big plus for me.

Pros
  • 100% Recycled and Sustainable - Green Seal Certified and American Made! Exceeds EPA Guidelines for Post Consumer Recycled Content
Cons
  • The eco-friendly production process may use more water than non-eco-friendly production

Great price on TP best in my review

We use this in our camper. It's not a thick toilet paper but even if you were to use twice as much, you're still money ahead! We think it's a great value!

Pros
  • ODEP9-321849
Cons
  • The product may not be as widely available globally

Marcal 1-Ply Bath Tissue

I was pleasantly surprised when I used the bath tissue. I like that each roll is individually wrapped. I decided to try Marcal after learning about the harmful effects of chlorine. It is really a Premium recycled product.

Pros
  • Toilet Paper
Cons
  • Some consumers may prefer to use bidets or washable cloths instead of disposable toilet paper

BIG RIP OFF - my new review

This was the biggest rip off ever.I can purchase the same exact bath tissue at our local supermarket on sale for one quarter the price.would never purchase again!

Pros
  • Don't have to worry about buying toilet paper for a whole year!
Cons
  • The roll may not fit certain toilet paper holders
