This is good packaging. For the price it could have been much better. I wish I had gone shopping as I could have gotten a Mystery Ranch or something similar instead. The biggest problem is the delicate materials used and the budget belt. It damaged my 50 pound pelvic bones.

Seems to be a good package. Used as a night light once in winter. For those interested. IT HAS A WATER HOSE HOLE. It's just hard to see. I didn't like the non-removable Nalgen cover and the fabric feels thinner than other comparable wraps. Comfort and excellent weight distribution. The day pack/moisture sleeve feels a bit overdue. I mainly used this and the Osprey Xenith 88. In the end I ended up with the latter.

Wow, I love this bag. I can carry what I need. I'm not a tour guide but I do backpacking with my teenage son and wife. I usually carry the weight for her and that's easy to do. The pendant is wonderful. My only complaint is that it's so big when loaded that you have to be careful to pack heavier items on the bottom - if you don't, it feels really heavy at the top. The backpack is heavy by today's standards, but those extra pounds help it carry the weight very well. It replaces a Dead Bird 95 liter backpack and the same 55 pounds seems to be MUCH lighter on Gregory. However, I'm not sure why every Gregory backpack I've had over the past 56 years has felt cheap and flimsy. From the ripstop nylon that feels slightly worn to the straps that are too flimsy for comfort to the flimsy buckles and laces, NOTHING feels like it will take a hit or last a while. A…
