The DC power cord exits under the base through a notch in the base so it lies flat on the table. Well, this cable is too thick to fit through the gap. Thus the base does not stand exactly on the worktop. In addition, you have a large DC-to-AC adapter that is also located outside the base. A MUCH better design would be one that includes a DC-AC adapter as part of the base, so no key. Just a power cord. In theory this is a fantastic product. Soon after receipt you will find that no cables are included. Basically, you're paying $100 (value at time of purchase) for a better micro USB hub. If you decide to use the charging cables that came with your phone (usually a few feet), then it looks like a complete mess.
