The case itself is pretty durable, but the stand that attaches to it isn't. Over time, it weakens and breaks. Unfortunately, the stand that comes separately from the case (it comes with the case) cannot be replaced or bought separately, and do not contact customer service, they are completely useless. I am told that they sell some type of stand that can be used with their cases but does not attach for easy portability.

Griffin Survivor cases are great and this option would be perfect if you could connect your Apple Pencil to an iPad with a case. There is a plastic clip preventing you from doing this. I just cut it off and sand down the sharp edges. You would think a manufacturer would test something like this before releasing it to the public?

This is the perfect product to protect your iPad. Fits perfectly on my iPad v5 2017 WiFi 9.7 inch, like a well made glove! I've had a "similar" on my iPad v4 for over four years and it's still in good condition. Even after it flew out of my hand and crashed into the block wall behind me. I think I was lucky that nothing happened to him. I expected that even with this device, the iPad would be seriously damaged, but it didn't happen. We had the previous generation of Griffin cases for their iPad and they have kept the iPad safe and sound through four years of abuse and falls from our children. No repairs and we managed to sell the iPad in excellent condition.
