The base isn't weighted at all. As you can imagine, the polish bottle is the heaviest of the holder. This makes it very easy to tip it over by hitting it or pushing it the wrong way. I put tape on it and taped it to my glass table to keep it from tipping over. That's why I'm only giving it three stars. Aside from that, it keeps my bottle of nail polish just the way I want it.

Great idea but the bottle is unreliable and the base is feather light and tips over. It was cheap enough so I'll probably add a layer of clear silicone to fill in the bottom for weight and rubbery texture and a thin line on the clip to hold the bottle better. Not bad overall, but I'd rather the company take care of the situation and charge me a few bucks more.

This is much stronger if you ignore the image and adjust it so the bottom arm is bent back over most of the stand. Twist in the same direction, but turn the part that holds the bottle so the opening is facing up. The weight of the bottle is now carried by the stand and rests on the clamp side of the bottle cage. Once you set it up like that, it works great. I couldn't make it tip over.

This product is very light and therefore not very useful. I knocked it over twice on the carpet because the nail polish was heavier than the holder. The purpose of this product is to keep the nail polish bottle in place, which cannot happen if it keeps tipping over. Would be a great product if it was a little heavier and could support the weight of a full bottle of polish.

I love it! I almost had no intention of buying it because a few reviews said it wasn't a very good product! You were wrong! It is absolutely durable and holds the polish very well! I use OPI, SALLY HANSEN, ESSIE. Quite a few polishes and no problems! Sometimes you can't avoid bad reviews, you just have to go ahead and try it yourself! I made it this time! Many Thanks

I love this bottle holder. I had no trouble tipping over or holding heavy/full bottles. The secret is to place the bottle in the holder as close to the neck of the bottle as possible. Then adjust the height of the "arm" so that it is in a stable position. There are rubber bands that help keep the bottle in place and prevent it from slipping. This is junk and a waste of money. It will hold the polish at a different angle than you can use and certainly not the angle they show. It flaps down and back, spilling your polish all over the place. Beautiful in theory, but the execution is terrible. I think this is the second time I've stuck with it. I bought this one a few years ago now that I think about it and then it was bad. I thought it might be another company with better performance. NO! The buyer must be wary.
