Waste of time and money

Well I was so wrong about them. Not only did they not stay on my boots (I lost one the same day I put them on) but they also didn't help with the mud I bought them for. But I think I got what I paid for. I am sorry.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Stay tuned - shoe care and accessories

Like the other reviewer, one of these fell off when I first put it on. I found it but then they both fell off the second time I put them on. I haven't found any of them. Luckily I found a pair I bought at a local store a few years ago. They are much smaller and stay on their feet. They were good on the ice but useless when they fell.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • No instructions

Great value for money - ice and snow grips

They were cheaper than many other products so I was hesitant to buy them but figured I wouldn't be wasted if they didn't work . Was pleasantly surprised. They are stretched enough for size 10 women's winter boots with large soles. I will wear them for a walk with the dog. One star deducted because sometimes one of them would fall off, but I used to have a much more expensive pair that did the same. Grippers work well. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great

Safe winter walk. But don't slip if you're almost dragging your feet.

I was skeptical that the rubber would rip the first week and lose it. To my surprise. It's had two winters. I've had it on my boots since it arrived before last winter and it still hugs the boots like new. The carbide material appears to be indestructible and this design does not lose any lugs compared to other button-like designs. This convinced me that this is the only product that can be used for regular outdoor walks. Couldn't be happier!

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some trouble

Not too good to be true, but close

They're cheap, their only strong point, apart from being easy to put on (but they also tend to fall off. I put the strap across). They work a little, but not in the way you'd hope. They stay on my feet and don't bother me while walking, but even when I consciously test them on a shiny surface of ice, I get only moderate support. I doubt it would have saved me from a really unexpected error. We also have boots with 9 equal little spikes on the bottom, a very different experience.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Expensive

Doesn't hold well for shoes, jewelry and watch accessories

As with the other reviewer, one of these fell off when I first put them on. I found it but then they both fell off the second time I put them on. I haven't found any of them. Luckily I found a pair I bought at a local store a few years ago. They are much smaller and stay on their feet. They were good on the ice but useless when they fell.
