These are sandals. That means they're wide, drop-free (no arch support), and very flexible. They are good quality and it's nice to have pumps that fit my feet.

I consider the Groundies to be 'barefoot' shoes and I have another pair (different style) with a thin flat sole and the wide toe box that I need. They are flat (no heels) but the toe box is too narrow and the insole is awkwardly shaped. They are also undersized. They are cute but I am sending them back because they are uncomfortable.

This is a great shoe for sandals: light, flexible, with a wide toe. They are a great alternative to your regular pumps. I usually wear US 9/EU 40 but had to go up a size. Size 10 fits perfectly.
