Does the job

I only got these because I bought a battery operated sewing machine and needed something for it. You are not very strong. They brake very easily. But it comes with a case, so that's a plus. They mark well but not a sharp line. Can be washed off completely.

Pros
  • Sewing Tools
Cons
  • Not as thick as the others

Lighter but more brittle

This chalk is very brittle and therefore very easy to break. BUT it makes cutting things MUCH easier. I made notes with oens and pencils. I tried regular chalk but none of them were a very good option. My only complaint is how easily they break. (I have a few small parts scattered on my sewing table and in a ziplock bag)

Pros
  • Marker and tracer
Cons
  • Expensive

Probably made in China but that's fine

I've never used colored pencils to mark fabric so thought I'd try something cheaper. A couple of crayons were broken and the container doesn't close all the way, but it was ok for the price. They are easy to hold and only a bit of chalk seems to come off my fingers. If I needed more (which I probably won't do in 5-10 years as there are 30 in this set!) I would buy them again.

Pros
  • Sewing Supplies and Supplies
Cons
  • Doubtful
