💚 GUM Orthodontic Wax - Mint Flavor, Pack of 12 Review

Buying 12, the price is much better. I received 12 individually wrapped waxes. The GUM brand is much better in the mouth (your may be different) as it is a harder wax than most other brands. I can drink my morning coffee with ease and it doesn't melt off my braces (ADULTS braces). slightly peppery, but not disturbing enough

man this is so much better than some of the other waxes I've bought. The biggest reason is the feeling. It has a denser consistency than other waxes, holds its shape and protects better. I had some very soft wax and you will end up eating wax all day. Also note that cold temperatures make it more difficult. Try to stay at room temperature.

This is the second time I've worn braces and this is the only wax I've tried that lasts and works. Others tended to not bond, get too hard, fall, and the like. But they hold up to reasonable use, as expected, and help mitigate the roughness of the brace.

As the title says I bought this to remove Invisalign Lisp as my tongue got caught on the bottom and top of the tray. I take a small amount in my hand, just enough to cover the top and bottom of the tray where my tongue normally meets (about 6 teeth apart). So now I don't cut my tongue on the tablet anymore and can speak normally so definitely worth buying.

Currently 6 weeks into using Wirelock Jaws. Used GUM wax to cover most of the wires as they all look like needles sticking into cheeks and gums. When placed correctly, it does an excellent job, is easy to shape and use, and lasts a decent amount of time. I avoided hot liquids to make sure nothing happened to the wax, but that's no big deal. In a pinch I tried CVS orthodontic wax because I just got Invisalign and the silicone material they gave me didn't work properly for me. I was happy with the wax's relief, but it was hard and crumbly. So after shopping and reading reviews I decided to give GUM Ortho Wax a try. It's soft, smooth, lasts LONG and I love the mint shade. I think I may have bought too much because over time my trays don't bother me as much. Oops. ;)

Wax from the orthodontist is annoying. This stuff is way better! The pre-cut pieces make it easier to apply, stick better (dry the braces first), the mint flavor is great, especially at night, and the vitamin E and aloe heal sore spots while you're wearing them. This wax is great for braces. It saved my mouth. The wax is a bit stiffer than what I got from my podiatrist, which is great because I can shape it better and it sticks really well after heating it between my fingertips. The price for 12 packs is impressive. The only reason this didn't get a 5 is because of the mint element. This is a blessing and a curse.
