I had an old rubber mallet my father gave me. Eventually it started falling apart when I was using it. I got this as a replacement and it works great. I can recommend it!

This hammer is smaller than I expected. It's my fault for not reading the description carefully enough. I plan to keep it for myself, I wanted it for my camper van so less really is more.

I'm a truck driver so I bought this hammer to hit tires. Firstly it is very heavy for a simple tool and secondly it started falling apart after a few weeks of use (see photo). Buyer beware

What can you say about a rubber mallet? We had one but the pool chemicals rusted and the handle broke. we now keep this separately. We use it to tighten and/or loosen caps on pool gear. very efficient.

I bought it as a cooking tool. Ideal for tenderizing and smoothing meat. Easy to clean, store, durable but not too heavy. It's slightly curved, so you'll need a flat board on the meat to flatten it out properly.

I have not used this hammer yet because after unpacking our whole house smelled of a very strong chemical smell. I placed the hammer outdoors to allow some ventilation. It's been a few days and it still stinks! I'm not sure I'll hold this hammer.

I needed something to shape and reinforce my materials. A hardware sized rubber mallet is overkill and my arthritis makes it difficult to lift and swing. This makes the work at a more comfortable size for me. I washed it with soap and water and aired it out for 2 days before using it. I got rid of the smell and it never left a black mark on my work.
