I have a relatively "cheap" sewing machine and this thread is thicker than what I normally use. That works great! I used them to hem the scrub tops my husband wears when he is babysitting. For reference, upper is 95% poly 5% spandex. The quality and durability of this thread is very good. The colors are almost identical to the picture, so you can count on easy matching to your material. I bought Rail Gray and Midnight. Definitely recommend.
