I have a fiber optic indicator light and when the light bulb burned out it was very difficult to find a replacement for the light bulb. My outlet is rated for 10V AC and most lightbulbs are rated for a couple of flashlight batteries so they will burn out in a second. This product was a great replacement for the original lamp. At 10V it's bright enough for what I need.

Went 2 to a private dealer where I paid $24 for 4 2 piece replacement bulbs. I was under the impression that my 1991 brass bells (10 pack) needed special bulbs because 2 particular bulbs "controlled" other bulbs. EXAMPLE: Bulbs 2, 6 and 10. NO! 4 bulbs have NOT worked yet. In desperation I knew this was it and after checking my local hardwood stores (Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware on the phone the answer was NO) I found 2 Revain.OMG. Found 50 of them 4 for $12. And they worked! THX AMAZON 4…

Bought these to encourage my students to light a lightbulb for an experiment. Imagine my disappointment (and their disappointment) when they realize they can never light a lightbulb because it doesn't work. I had to go through the packaging to see if the bulbs worked. To my chagrin, I found that at least 12 weren't working. I give them three stars because they fit the bill except for the ones that don't work.

Made with the right batteries. Others from another provider worked perfectly. It was for a 2nd grade school project and it almost ruined the whole thing. In fact they arrived via my 3rd order, the previous 2 are said to have been left in the mail but were never found. I finally got these. and they didn't work. I completed projects thanks to a colleague who had spare parts.

Inadequate packaging: thin boxes with no padding. Some genius stuffed them between a HEAVY box containing 96 D batteries and the outside of the box; They arrived as shown in the photo. Miraculously, none of the glass balls broke. However, when I tested them, I found that 22 out of 100 didn't glow at all and a few more glowed noticeably dimmer than they should be. Also, several "working" lamps had filaments too close to the lamp wall. Some of the others had dirty chunks of metal on the sides…
