LED bulbs are a good replacement for halogen bulbs in pendant lights.

I used these LED bulbs to replace old halogen bulbs in customers' pendant lights above their kitchen island. The lamps have a good color and brightness. the transformers now cool down when warm, as with the halogen lamps, indicating a significant current drop and improved energy efficiency.

Does not fit in base

I bought a 5 watt unit of 6 and they don't fit the base of my lamp. I compared them to my old lamp and they look pretty much the same so I'm trying to figure out what the problem is. I could force one to turn on, but it wouldn't light up. I turned it over and it still won't come on. I put the old bulb back in and it still worked great (just weak which is why I bought these bulbs; double the lumens of my old LED bulb).

LET THERE BE LIGHT - LED bulbs

Decided to try outdoor LED lights. I was impressed with the amount of light and brightness these little bulbs gave off. Since it is LED, it definitely saves energy and costs. They don't give off much heat like regular incandescent bulbs but they are a lot brighter as you can see in the picture I uploaded. I looked for LED bulbs at local hardware stores and they are quite expensive. But I've found that you can get a good deal on Revain LED bulbs. Now I will buy Revain LED bulbs. Another benefit…
