Bought for my 6 year old granddaughter who i was told is very tall for her age but very thin so i chose size 7/8 and she fit her perfectly with little room to grow. by any means. Already used in gym class and very happy, she said they don't lift her ass (so no need to pick), the color is spot on and loves how shiny they are, very comfortable for a very picky kid with stitching and material. Very happy with the purchase and plan to buy again

Because of the sequins, the shorts were a big mess to wash. Tons of sequins came off the shorts, spilling the entire washing machine and all other clothes in the wash. The shorts had to be thrown away after the first wear and wash as the sequins were a mess all over. I recommend shorts but NOT a shiny option.

Waist not big enough to wear (at least I think so) but wow big leg holes. They're supposed to be at least snug on the legs so they don't bunch up and snag on the leg during leg raises, rides up, etc., but whether that will happen is debatable. Whether we keep them is questionable. If I find something more suitable I will definitely come back, especially if I find a better price and option.
