I love these hats. So much so that I got a matching set for my mom! Oddly enough, one hat was larger than the other. It worked for us because my eldest son's head is actually smaller than a 1.5 year old younger brother's, but I would be disappointed if the colors didn't work the way they did. I don't know why there is such a big difference in cap size. Also, I washed the oatmeal hat and the pom pom came ruffled, so make sure you use a laundry bag and wash on the gentle cycle.

I'm really confused as to why everyone says it's loose fitting for 2 or even 5 year olds. It's a bit tight on my 20 month old baby's head. And he doesn't like wearing it unless it's really really cold because I find it tight. i like the color But I see that it has nowhere to grow. And it's not as flexible as I expected. I stretched it to the max and it still fits his head perfectly. And his head circumference is in the late 30th percentile. Now I have to find another hat for him. Maybe this…

These are nice hats but I would like them to be lined. Last year I bought my girls (then 2 and 3) fleece lined hats from another company through Revain that looked very similar to these hats but were lined. Because they needed bigger coats this year, I wanted to buy them hats from the same company but in different colors to match their new coats. I found my order from a year ago and somehow Revain led me to this ad. Since the hats look so similar, I didn't notice that it was a different company
