I used this item as instructed. I tested the watertight seals in the shower AND by submerging the case THREE times for 30 minutes or more while the case was empty and leak-free. Then I put my iPod in and tested it in the shower. The first time I submerged the case with my iPod under water, the case filled with water and destroyed my iPod. I am extremely disappointed. Because I've exceeded the return period, I can't return or exchange it, but I don't want to either.
