Good quality but based on the description I thought the cotton part would be "fluffier" ie longer and softer than coated hardwood sticks. Given the design, they may fit the outer ear, but I would be very reluctant to go too deep in a dog's ear. Ordinary Q-Tips would work just as well and cost significantly less.

The price is too high for the quantity. I decided to buy these and like the other reviews the top is quite large to fit my golden retriever ears in the canal. They are very durable and did not bloom even on wet cotton. I would have liked a thinner tip.

All dog owners should get one! We have been using them to clean our dogs ears for a number of years now and we love them. They are safe for your dog's eardrum and the handle is made of wood (bamboo), so nice and sturdy; The handles won't bend like cotton swabs. They are 12 times more absorbent than cotton swabs. They are 100% biodegradable. For those who complain that they are too big, they come in two sizes for large and small dogs.

This is PERFECT what I've been looking for for a long time so happy I found it by accident! I have avoided using regular cotton swabs on my dogs as they are so small and they only pack up the 'dirt' in the ears causing further problems! They're nice and big and I can really rub my ear, pulling out all the twists and turns and everything. I'll buy from now on!
