SIMPLEX soft-face mallet with the insert combination of composite rubber (black, medium hard, impact cushioning, odourless, low-wear) / plastic (red, hard, oil and grease resistant). Cast iron housing with integrated handle protection sleeve and excellent break resistance. High-quality, vibration-damping, and ergonomically shaped wooden handle; grip area with double coat of varnish (resistant to dirt). All parts can be replaced / retrofitted, resulting in great savings in cost and resources. Available in sizes ranging from D30mm to D60mm sledge hammer and in size D60mm with rubber insert and β€œstand-up”. Halder top seller for a large variety of applications.

Superior hammer quality

Excellent quality and balance. Smaller than expected but suited my needs well. I like the hard plastic and rubbery surface.

Beautiful mallet!

I do a lot of gunsmithing and sometimes I need a hammer that won't break the metal I'm working with. I used to have a Craftsman mallet, but the plastic hammer has grown like a mushroom and replacing the hammer is a headache. I stumbled upon this and am very impressed with its customizability. Just loosen the screw and you can apply the desired material to the face. Overall great quality and great design! Great addition to my tool box!

Covered in sticky residue right out of the box.

The hammer looks great, but unfortunately the handle is covered with a sticky coating. It's possible that the finish was compromised from sitting the machine in the heat of action, but if so, that's a huge disappointment for what I expected to be a reliable everyday tool. I may have to sand the whole handle and just polish. it's me. Not what I expected from a $27 Hammer. Everything else looks fine, but "everything else" is just the head. Sigh.
