Description of Half-Life: Alyx
Valve is returning to the Half-Life series with Half-Life: Alyx, which it brought to VR. Alyx takes place between Half-Life and Half-Life 2 and is about the impossible war against the ruthless alien race known as the Alliance. As Alyx Vance, you are humanity's last chance to survive! After the Black Mesa accident, the Alliance tightened its control over the planet it had invaded, by besieging cities still populated by humans. The world's best scientists are under siege. That includes you and your father, Dr. Including Eli Vance. As the founders of the burgeoning resistance, you continued to secretly conduct scientific experiments and developments. You've conducted vital research and developed invaluable tools for the handful of people who dared to oppose the Alliance. With each passing day, you learn more and more about the enemy and find out the weak points of the enemy.
