The lenses are thick

The lenses on these glasses were quite thick and heavy. This shifted the center of gravity of the glasses forward and put more pressure on the bridge of the nose than I would have liked. The bridge of the nose was too small for my nose and I couldn't alter (bend) it to fit my face.

Essentially a $200 frame

frames are all hype in the US. I've had no luck with foreign titanium alloys, so I settled on steel. These are good solid heavy frames. The mirror finish is subtle but effective. However, the gold looks more like rose brass. I know Chinese gold varies in hue, so "gold color" can mean anything, but c'mon, you know what you did there. Seriously, even the saleswoman was fucking YES!

Handy to keep in the car if you forget other glasses, but not for long-term use

I chose these because of the reasonable price (I usually get Zenni cut reading glasses, and they end up costing between $15 and $30 each), so I gambled with them. Now for their functionality: the frames are pretty good, but the optics aren't very good. The frames are probably as good as my $30 Zennis, they feel straight and solid. On the other hand, the lenses are of very poor quality. All lenses have an odd processing line down the center (like they're bifocal). They're annoying, but still…
