Nice look, tricky to install on an easy level

Love the look as it has a few protrusions inside. I had to install lamp extensions because the length adjustment was too difficult for me.

Pros
  • Electric
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

4 inch bulbs work well for wall lighting

I'm an electrician and I installed 100 bulbs and trim. Personally, I use 5 inch cans and chucks at home. 6 inch cans feel big and bulky, 4 inch cans are good for lighting walls, decor, art etc but not for lighting open spaces. 5 inches is the golden mean. perfect size Recently used in a 400 square foot garage renovation. Worked great. Halo is a good product and you can't beat this price on Amazon. Cheaper than the seller.

  • Recessed Lights

Difficult to find in stores

If like me you installed some of these 10 years ago, I suggest finding out how many of these you need and getting them. In 2005 I installed some outdoor landscape lighting knowing that one day I would continue my wall and indeed when I did this some 10 years later these lights were no longer being made! I'm not sure if yours is the same, but Lowe's/Home Depot no longer sells them. Now there are usually baffle options ranging from 1" or 2" to 5" and none were the same as these. I have them all…

Pros
  • Tools and housewares
Cons
  • Big and bulky
