💡 Cooper White HALO RL460WH930 LED Recessed Light - 3000 Kelvin Review

I found these replacement LED bulbs to be a little less bright than expected. The color temperature of the light was too yellow for my taste. In addition, the light output does not match that specified by the manufacturer.

Lighted up the whole house with halo lights, tried different types and thought they were great. Most alternatives have a plastic case that looks cheap up close. This is a high quality painted metal finish. However, 4 inch flashlights have a very crappy mounting system (basically they're metal strips sewn into the body). I preferred 5/6" lights with a nice V clamp. I have about 8 of these 4" units and will try a third party spring clip to improve the mounting fit.

Ordered three lamps. When they arrived it was a completely different model, body and wiring. Of the other two, one was broken - a broken mounting clip - and the other was missing a cord extension with a custom plug. So there was no way to install any of them. Were they captured and sent off the dump? Complete garbage.

When you have 4" downlights in your home, good LED retrofit options are hard to come by. I've tried screw-in LED bulbs for a while, but they've never been perfect. These bulbs have good color (at least for LEDs), excellent light diffusion and brightness. The installation was easy and very clearly documented. It literally took me less than five minutes to install.
