🔨 15D Hammer Duplex H15D Handpiece Review

I have to say I made a good choice when I bought one of these. I don't use it to set gems, I mainly use it to create different textures on different metals. This item must be used in conjunction with the front speed controller to avoid damage. I have one of the powerful motors with a motor shaft. Foredom is definitely on the higher end, but it's worth it. I LOVE IT

I bought a Prodigy Flex Shaft a few years ago before I started making jewelry. I didn't want to buy a new flex shaft to put the stones in my bezels, so I hoped that would work. and so it is. I have a speed controller and I set it to 15 percent. The Prodigy can operate at 20,000 RPM and this handpiece cannot be used at speeds greater than 5,000 RPM. It works really well at around 15 percent power.

This is another one of those tools that I struggled with to decide if I really needed it. After weakness in my arms prevented me from using the stones carefully, I knew something had to be done. After about 10 seconds of using this tool, I realized I made the right decision! There isn't a huge learning curve when using it. Fits very well in my hand! The only small problem I have is the speed. I wish there was a way to disable the flexshaft motor so I could keep the hammer at a lower speed. It…
