Universal power cord. I needed something for my daughter's room because the house is old and I'm afraid that if I put something in the socket it will catch fire. This is clearly a hindrance. Also, I sometimes have things that charge via USB, so having extra space helps. I'm not sure I'll be using a Type-C connector, but my husband was very excited. To be honest, what I like best is that this is a three-pronged, multi-socket, surge-protected cable.

this extender is perfect for me on the couch. It's big enough to easily fit under my couch, and the USB-C port is perfect for me and my wife since both of our phones use USB-C for charging. There have been so many instances where our phone ran out of battery and we had to go somewhere else to plug it in. Now we simply run a long USB-C cable from the extension along the cushions of our sofa. It is also well hidden and tidy. Super comfortable!

So to be clear it does what it's supposed to do so it's good. It's the little things that make a difference. The flat fork requires the chord to go right, which was annoying when I needed it to go left, so be aware this takes away some of the length. While there are places to "install" it (which is what I needed), there is no hardware in the kit, and I couldn't find a screw or nail (or nail) that would fit the holes - to be honestly, it looks like all it needs is one of those tiny nails you can

I had two old extension cords behind my bed to power bedside lamps and cell phone chargers. The cables were unsightly, had no surge protection, and were easily detached. When the chargers became loose, it was difficult to move furniture to get to the ports. I mounted the device on the wall directly above the carpet. It's very accessible, charges our phones quickly due to the increased voltage over regular chargers, and looks a lot better on the wall than the old two-strip power strips.
