Wantabee Ove' Glove

While not as protective as the original Ove' Glove, these gloves will keep the heat out. I have found that I can feel warmth through the gloves but they are not as bulky as Ove gloves. After holding anything out of the oven for more than 10 seconds, the heat is very noticeable. I don't usually need to hold hot items for that long, so it's not a big problem.

Handy Trends Model 00770 Deluxe Handler Hot Surface Handler 2-Pack New Ultra Thick

- The gloves I received are probably good for "hot tasks" as described; But as far as saying 'one size fits all', these gloves are a bit snug for the person who needs a 'large' size glove (my wife). I wear "XL gloves" and they "do not" fit me. - If I bought these gloves just for myself - I would "return" them immediately.

Not even remotely heat resistant

When I first ordered this product, it arrived right away. Exactly what I expected from the product. heat resistant. The second time I ordered it took 2 months to receive it and what a disappointment. I could go to Menards and buy a large pack of knitted work gloves for less than $5. They are anything but heat resistant. What a total robbery and I can't even get her back. The gloves are comparable to thin elastic winter gloves for children that cost $1.

Really hot stuff: kitchen and table linen

I am very happy with it. I tested them at 350*F and was able to keep the pan at that temperature for up to 10, which is about twice as long as old-fashioned oven mitts. I've also tested them at 480*F (low grill temp) and was able to hold the grill grate for about 6 counts. Add to that the added portability, snug fit and fire resistance and you have a great oven. My only complaint is that they had a strong rubbery smell when first unpacked (hence the loss of a star) but I let them air outโ€ฆ
