Hanes Big Boys' Tank Tops: Pack of 5 for Ultimate Comfort and Style Review

My personal experience with them is 2 stars but that's not the product's fault. I dared to buy a children's shirt (I'm a small adult woman). It just covers my middle when I put it on for the first time. But then as I move in it, the material stretches and the shirt stops clinging to my waist and billows just above my belly button. Not what I was looking for. But other than that it's a good ribbed shirt.

They make a great tank top or sleep shirt. I'm a petite woman - 5ft 3in and 100lbs - and I prefer the fit of the A-shirt to the fit of comparable women's singlets. I bought a medium size and changed to a small because the shirt was too long and the armholes were too big. I called Hanes and the tank length is Med (23.5"), Small (20.75"), XS (18-19"). I didn't ask about the large sizes, but it's to be assumed that they increase in equal increments of about 2". I hope this is helpful.

Judging by the size grid, it should fit an 11 year old. I received them after washing and they shrunk sooooo much! Luckily my youngest son can use them.

best price! The quality is like store bought. my nephew loved them, especially in WH where the summers are insanely hot and humid.

Em. The shirts fit great. My son found them comfortable. They fit as expected. Until I washed one. In the photo (from right to left) an unwashed shirt, then a well-worn, washed shirt. Cold water, then dry. I have used Hanes many times over the years and have never reduced them. That's ridiculous. Don't worry about dirty shoulder straps. This is a stain from the water based airbrush paint I used for my son to go to DragonCon as a Weeping Angel. I won't get those shirts again.

I love these shirts! I'm a slim woman and I wear them as tank tops all year round. They are long enough to tuck into underpants in winter and the material is soft enough.

Fits perfectly and I speak for myself. I am 1.70m tall, my bust is 40 inches and my waist is 24. It is very difficult to find clothes. These are large shirts for boys and they are two inches below the navel. I don't expect them to last very long as they are very thin. I think that's the beauty of the Five Pack. My son wears these vests under his school shirts. They are comfortable, fit well and the quality is excellent. As I grow, I buy the same vests, just bigger.

Perfect for summer, thin enough not to feel like an extra layer and just enough to wick summer sweat so your top doesn't leave a nice stain.

I ordered two of these packs and the tailoring is poor. An extra thread comes out on both sides of each shoulder part of the shirt. I'm afraid to cut them or everything will fall apart.

My kid loves the t-shirt, wears it at home to show off his muscles (it doesn't copy dad, trust me!) and under the often uncomfortable school uniform. All cotton is pleasant, soft to the touch.

Hanes has always been my favorite brand. My kids have to wear a vest under their shirts so I always buy a Hanes vest. These shirts fit well right out of the package, however, after one wash they shrink like 3 sizes.!

Immediately after taking it out of the box, I noticed poor quality. The seams barely held, the seams stood out in several places. Before I even washed them I had my son try them on so I could see if they fit as they seem very long but very tight. The first one he tried on ripped his chest open before he even put it on. Who thinks about ribbed tank tops for boys? Now, I. I wear them myself. I'm in my 50's and have found that these ribbed tank tops make good pajama tops and are cheaper in boy's packs so I stock them.
