Hanes ComfortSoft has just one problem. He's not soft. I returned Hanes and bought Fruit of the Loom Platinum. Much better. Don't waste your time with Hanes if you're looking for consolation

Genuine. It's not the comfortably soft material that I've come to love. Also, there is a tag that is not standard on these shirts. It's just a plain, coarse cotton shirt. I knew I wanted to do more than just shop at a brick-and-mortar store like Wal-Mart or Target.

Having purchased and tested this excellent Hanes product in the past, I found that it no longer exists. I've recently ordered it twice from two different sellers and both times I got a cheap replacement that was sold elsewhere for a much lower price. The item I received was not labeled ComfortSoft and Heavyweight and had a loosely attached tag on the collar rather than the Hanes logo on the shirt. I ordered a set of 2 black and 4 white long sleeve t-shirts (size XL) at the same time. Black shirts are noticeably denser than white ones, to the point where I'm afraid to put black shirts in the dryer. White t-shirts fit well and wash well.

Shirts are good, but if polyester isn't a bad thing then it's a good buy. But I'm sure I wouldn't order them if the ad says the shirts are 90% cotton and 10% polyester. I only order cotton so I'm 99% sure the ad says 100% cotton. PS I just checked the Revain insert and it says 100% cotton.
