It's definitely a preference for the fit of your clothes. As you can see from the photos, I have a bag and I like my shirts to be loose around my stomach. I usually wear a large one, but this one was too small and too snug for me. I'm 5'5 and I weigh 170 pounds. Could have fit a very large size but after washing I wanted to be on the 'safe' side.

The best darning t-shirts (I bought pink and turquoise) I've ever bought! Seriously, the build quality is way better than what I expected from a $9.99 t-shirt. The material is silky and falls beautifully. Perfect for grocery shopping, everyday lunch or dinner. You can even add a scarf to dress it up! I returned to buy other colors. Oh, did I say it's washable and wearable straight out of the dryer? Yes.

Perfect for my work. I work in a very hot camp and needed something as thin as possible, non see through and also sweat free and this shirt is perfect. I like that it's not cap sleeves. I followed the size chart, I have a 40" bust and bought a large and it fits perfectly. It's not tight but a little loose and still flatters me. I like it. I work as a paramedic and we have to wear a dark blue t-shirt under our heavy uniform shirt. I have several other Hanes sport shirts and love ALL of them - both short and long sleeve. This shirt fit really well when I tried it on and it wasn't see through at all so that was fine. I washed it inside out once in cold water (no sagging zippers etc) and hung it to dry. When I put it on, many of the seams came undone and the shirt fell apart. I received a long sleeve version of this shirt for my birthday last year and I love it. So when I saw the short sleeve version at such a great price I ordered 3 (pink, navy and light blue) and was blown away. According to the sizing chart I should have ordered medium (I'm on the higher end of those measurements) but I wanted the shirt to be a tighter fit as I plan to wear it under other clothing.
