Floor socket

The socket has poor contact with the light bulb. I tried screwing in the lightbulb but it doesn't light up. After a lot of screwing and unscrewing, it worked once. But when I turned it off and came back later, it wouldn't turn back on. Literally received on the second day, very disappointed.

I recommend the best in electrics

Very good quality. The only thing to note is that the black rubber material that covers the socket, the part that covers the lamp insert, is not strong. It looks solid and solid in the photo, but when first unpacked it was kinked out of the box. This is a temporary phenomenon that calms down fairly quickly.

Don't waste your money

I bought these to hang lampshades from the ceiling. There's nothing to attach the sunglasses to and the tapered top ensures you get a full blown swing instead of solid support. To solve this problem, no standard products can be fixed or screwed. I now get an extra $11 per lamp not including the cost of specialty glue and gas for two trips to three hardware stores to buy and glue various washers/o-rings/gaskets to stabilize the lampshade. This is a perfect example of how the ease and cheapness…
