Hansgrohe 04266000 Wallbar 24 Inch Chrome Review

Looks great and modern but we struggled with the shower handle slide for a long time. We couldn't figure out how to flip it. As a result, it turns out that you have to twist quite hard, it feels like you are about to break. It works well but we were mushrooming to flip too much and it took us two days to figure it out! So don't be afraid to use force first if you want to change the tilt of your shower head!

This product looks great when installed. I like the design very much. Bought two of these, one for each bathroom. However, less than a year after installation, water (a significant amount) from each shower head began to leak between the front of the shower head and the final compartment. Took a while but now one has become almost unusable as the face seems to be separating from the rest of the head. Very disappointed, especially at this price.

In August 2015 I bought the Unica S shower rail set 04266000 from Hansgrohe. It was working great until last month when water started dripping from the bottom of the shower head. The shower head silicone emitter has been cleaned but this has not improved the situation and over the last week the shower head leak has only worsened, greatly reducing water pressure and is just plain wasteful. We installed one of these in our master bathroom during a whole house remodel. It looks great, just what we wanted in a modern home. This shower set definitely looks good. but as most of the parts are plastic (looks like chrome) i'm afraid it won't last long. The height of the shower head can be easily adjusted by turning the lever on the left. and since the pole is quite long, the height can be adjusted widely. I think I fell for a well known brand and good reviews. Went to many other websites to check the product description and was confident that I would get metal parts. I think of the whole set only the slider tube and locking handle are metal. My biggest disappointment is that the shower handle is all plastic. I bought two of these in 2014 to renovate two bathrooms. They look good and work well. I got Grohe valves and Hansgrohe fittings mixed up because I couldn't find everything from the same brand at the price I was looking for. inferior to metal parts in every respect, including appearance (indistinguishable) and durability. Nothing speaks against a lower weight for the head. The hose is also non-metallic but looks great and is smoother than metal coated hoses. Although I was a little skeptical at
