🚩 Vibrant Hanson Fluorescent Red Flagging Tape: High-Visibility and Reliable Marking Solution Review

I have to agree with Dave - this tape is definitely NOT orange. IT'S ROSE! The good thing is that, like the Solocanoe, I use it in my BOB to signal when needed. Since neither fluorescent pink nor fluorescent orange occur naturally outside of the Revine jungle [connection not provided] or central Africa, I'm pretty sure either will work well as a signal. However, one would like to believe that what was advertised was REALLY what it was. . . . . Spring . . . .

I have several of these and love them. They break easily and evenly. They hold the handwriting well with a marker, they won't smudge. The rolls I received are pink due to design, wrong model number or age, they look more like normal labels than orange "life tape". Regardless of the color, however, they do an excellent job. I just prefer to use orange for rescue purposes because pink is very common for trails and group travel. If/when I run out of these reels I will buy again.

This is really the only thing I take outside that isn't camouflage, dark green or black. and it might have been missed from 50 feet if it had not been looked for. However, something bright and "non-natural" is needed for emergencies. It is small and easy to pack. And there's enough in this reel to mark miles and miles of the journey. As this is a light band - almost any light breeze will move it - to catch the attention of anyone who might be looking for you. The tape also doesn't break easily,
