Vintage Japanese Outwear Bathrobe by HAORUN Review

I'm 6'1" and weigh just over 300 pounds and it lives up to my expectations. It's not the best material, but for the price it's great. It washes well and I really like the look of it. The only negative is that there is only one design, I could buy more 😅

I bought it thinking it would be a kimono robe that can be tied with a belt but I wear it from carelessness. This is a haori designed to be worn over clothing such as a jacket or cardigan. It's stylish and comfortable and I still use it to this day. My only complaint is that the lining doesn't have a printed pattern so it looks a little cheap as it's meant to be worn open.

I am very happy with this product. I was hoping the seller would offer larger sizes as Asian sizes tend to be smaller than Western sizes. I ordered the largest size XXL; I'm XL and this fits perfectly. 3X would probably be too big to cling to things! It's a smooth, thin, lightweight, unlined fabric, and while it's been described as a robe, it's perfectly suited to everyday wear as a themed accessory. Simply put, this kimono is cheap. The picture looks much nicer than it really is. I'm very disappointed, to be honest. It is made from a very thin/faded black itchy material much like you would expect from a typical Halloween costume. Not to mention that you need to order 2-3 sizes larger than your usual size to make it fit like a real kimono. I wear Honey and had to order XL. Honestly, if you're looking for something easy to carry around the house, keep looking my friend.

I'm a tall guy so it's a bit difficult for me to find the right model. It suited me so well. I am wearing an XXL men's shirt and this XXL suits me very well. It's very comfortable and light. The only thing I didn't like was the thinness of the product. When I received this package I thought it was a scarf. It is so thin that it was rolled up like a handkerchief in the package.

Definitely too small. I'm 5'7 250 pounds so not a little guy. I have 3x and it's tight in the shoulders. Although I like it. It's good for wearing at home. It's not for warmth, it's wafer thin, but I needed something like that. My plush cotton coat is so warm I'm sweating and uncomfortable to lie in. This is for sitting in your boxer shorts.
