My daughter is very small for her age (11 years old) and I was considering getting her a size 10 or 12. The size chart for a size 12 of this dress was larger than her measurements. However, I chose 12 after reading other reviews (which said it was a dress for a slimmer figure) and I'm glad I did. The dress fit her perfectly! I bought 2 of these for our daughters aged 10 and 5. You must be at your older sister's wedding. I loved the look and length - perfect for young bridesmaids and/or flower girls but not too chic for any other occasion. They were supposed to be longer and I originally ordered a size 6 for my 5 year old daughter, thinking she would have room to grow next spring. but it almost touched the ground so i decided to go back to size 5 thinking it would be better. Chest and waist fit well/as expected but the dress was very, very long for her size. Don't worry, we can hem or gather at the bottom or waist for extra material. My daughter is about 4ft 10" tall and we had a good margin of 6-7" on the bottom so for a full grown adult would be at least 5ft 4" bottom length and if 5ft 7" or so that's probably perfect . Length. Otherwise, be prepared that you may have to hem the top of the skirt and the lining. I guess it's fully aligned. The material feels nice…
