Got this for my son but he was struggling a lot. Then, as a person who has used chopsticks for 20 years, I also struggled, it was impossible to understand well, and chopsticks always slip when you take something. Don't expect a child can use it, it's better just for decoration.

I would recommend choosing something else. My son had shark wood chopsticks which were solid Very difficult to use even for someone like me who knows how to use Used chopsticks I can see how difficult it is for a little guy who is just learning to buy him another pair to study in. OK. Pros: Very cute, the ninja guy is just adorable. The chopsticks themselves are good and seem to be quite durable. Cons: Basically, everything doesn't work as intended. I was worried that there wouldn't be enough room to actually close the spikes while maintaining control and I was right, a ninja's legs don't have enough room so it's really, really hard to lift anything. Very Sad Comeback Ninja is so adorable and the person it was intended for would love it but alas.
