Supplied in our preferred plastic case which is the perfect carrier for delicate electronics. Thumbs up if you're really happy to get it, only to find it crushed and unusable.

Thrown away after a few days

I got a Vantop H610 dash cam and backup camera for my birthday and was really excited but I don't like the visible wires so I bought this kit. And it really only worked for a few minutes at a time. I tried setting it up but nothing worked. The camera kept turning on and off while driving, so I threw it in the gas bucket at the gas station. If you have a onetop buy the official harness, it was flawless. I don't know how it is with other guys. Cam.

Didn't work for me - inaccurate cut-off voltage

Measured 12.05 volts at the connection point. However when I tried to connect this it didn't work. This port has a cutoff threshold and I find that the cutoff is not very accurate. I could never get it to power the dashcam even though I had over 12 volts on the connection. I noticed that another buyer had the exact same problem as me. It was a waste of time and now I have to redo the wiring. I am VERY, VERY upset and disappointed.

My GPS manufacturer required a low power source and this meets their specifications.

The DVR was installed with this setting. Works well! My only complaint was that I thought connecting the cable would be easier if the stripped cable was a little longer and soldered a little better. Wire gauge is too small to use butt connectors or taps without doubling the wire. As a result, I inserted the wire into the connector and wrapped it with tape. But it is connected and working as advertised. I'm installing one of these in my wife's car right now, but I'm thinking of soldering it. I…

Works well, easy to hide above the ceiling, an annoying problem.

This is a great idea and I originally gave it five stars. But they are said to have a "low power cutoff" at 11.6V, which sounds like a great idea but doesn't seem to be precisely calibrated. I bought two of these and when my car key was in the "on" position the wires I connected to showed 12.58 volts which is the same as reading directly from my battery terminals.
