Great if you're a fan of loose tea!

My daughter and I drink tea almost every day and prefer loose tea. This is a great tool if you are a tea lover! It's easy to use and clean, and you won't have trouble with ball diffusers. Because the leaves don't stick together, you get a richer drink.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Neutral

Best tea maker I've ever bought

Perfect for making tea and coarser coffee. Easy disassembly makes cleaning easier. Even with my big hands I can still rub the inside of the glass. Watching the tea bounce is very useful and easy to pour the tea even when it is hot. So much room for the tea leaves to decompose.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Won't keep your drink hot

This is a nice piece of glass to brew your drink in but if you're drinking something hot and want it to stay hot for longer than 5 or 6 minutes, I would get me something else I couldn't even have a cup of tea until my spices were noticeably colder. If you want to brew one cup at a time that would be fine, but in this case I'd recommend something smaller and double-walled.

Great system for brewing tea, especially for large groups

We use it at work to brew a large teapot to share. The capacity of 800 ml is great for this. The Hario tea drip system works well for loose leaf teas that need to be brewed multiple times. Large leaf teas clarify well, while I find good teas require a little more effort. I would also recommend using the stand and glass carafe that were designed for this system for functionality and stability. Prepare a large pot of tea and gather your colleagues, friends or household!

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Appearance

Beautiful, artistic, modern and useful!

We bought this to serve tea (we've just started with a new tea partner who only offers loose teas) as we need a full 8 seater filling station with Hario- have decanters and drippers. . Thought it would be a great addition and so far so good. It's beautiful, well designed and fun. The downside for us is that it's not easy to clean, and we're considering next time using it TOGETHER with a loose-leaf container (bag or otherwise) to make cleaning easier. For a cup of tea per person at home that…

  • Not only useful for its intended purpose

Good solid construction but needs a stand for best performance

I like using this. Only thing is that it's a bit inconvenient without a stand. I was hoping it would work well with my double walled coffee pot, which appears to be the case, but the lever is difficult to reach and then, when removed after draining, too hot to handle. I may end up only getting a coaster, but I need to measure to make sure my carafe fits under it, or I need to make a coaster that fits. I love my double wall carafe and wish the stand was adjustable or this brewer had a bucket…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

I love this tea dripper!

I was looking to buy a brewing system from a local tea company and it included this exact dripper at a much lower price that I found here. It works so great, love it, and I make a concentrated loose leaf tea, and it's great for custom brewing too. You just have to be very careful that the small metal ball doesn't fall out of its "spot" during cleaning and break the glass. The tea leaves stick to the bottom seal, so you have to pull them out and clean them every time, which is not difficult…

Pros
  • Many will do
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Fast, fun and easy cleaning!

I am very happy with this dripper. Recently became a fan of Piper & Leaf tea from Huntsville, Alabama and they recommend it in drip form (which fits perfectly in a quart-sized glass). Fill the glass with ice, add 2 teaspoons of loose tea and wait for the recommended steeping time. sheet based. Then just (but slowly) release the tea. You can also add plain syrup to the drip cup before draining, as hot water will dissolve it well. Bowl. I've now bought a second one to give as a gift. A note; Make

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
