Hario 'Largo' Clear Glass Tea Dripper - 800ml Size Review

My daughter and I drink tea almost every day and prefer loose tea. This is a great tool if you are a tea lover! It's easy to use and clean, and you won't have trouble with ball diffusers. Because the leaves don't stick together, you get a richer drink.

Perfect for making tea and coarser coffee. Easy disassembly makes cleaning easier. Even with my big hands I can still rub the inside of the glass. Watching the tea bounce is very useful and easy to pour the tea even when it is hot. So much room for the tea leaves to decompose.

This is a nice piece of glass to brew your drink in but if you're drinking something hot and want it to stay hot for longer than 5 or 6 minutes, I would get me something else I couldn't even have a cup of tea until my spices were noticeably colder. If you want to brew one cup at a time that would be fine, but in this case I'd recommend something smaller and double-walled.

We use it at work to brew a large teapot to share. The capacity of 800 ml is great for this. The Hario tea drip system works well for loose leaf teas that need to be brewed multiple times. Large leaf teas clarify well, while I find good teas require a little more effort. I would also recommend using the stand and glass carafe that were designed for this system for functionality and stability. I like using this. Only thing is that it's a bit inconvenient without a stand. I was hoping it would work well with my double walled coffee pot, which appears to be the case, but the lever is difficult to reach and then, when removed after draining, too hot to handle.
