Leave it to Japan - they have the best culinary and kitchen facilities. These spice bottles are amazingly durable and I love that my Vitamix allows me to whip up anything and make homemade spices in a glass bottle that is easy to use, store and pour from. Such things seem so simple, but wonderful at the same time. Phenomenal quality and I love using it.

Found this bottle in a hotel in Tokyo where syrup is served. I liked it very much and immediately bought it to use as a syrup in a bottle at home. I love it and its perfect spout design doesn't really drip out of the bottle. High-quality glass bottle with removable plastic spout and plastic screw cap. Highly recommended. Can also be used for liquids, dressings, oils!

If you're looking for a glass bottle - for example for the microwave - with measurement markings and a large leak-proof spout, this bottle is superbly designed. Slim, compact, fully sealed, easy to clean. Warming milk for a baby, preparing powdered drink, shaking lemonade concentrates come to mind. Only for salad dressing would I have wished for a wider base for stability at the table. Bought a few as gifts - love them.

We mixed salad dressings and stored them in containers for several months before deciding to purchase dedicated bottles. boy-oh! These bottles made life easier. The lids fit the spout snugly so you can shake the bottles vigorously without spilling anything, the glass is easy to clean and the spout pours very smoothly. The size is good too - we can make enough for a couple of salads before moving on to the next experiment.

After looking at many alternatives I bought this to store my homemade salad dressing; I was looking for a bottle that wasn't covered in measurement markings, didn't drip when poured, and had a lid that held on so I could shake the dressing. The lid and black rubber spout match really well - no spills, no drips. There are a few measuring marks on the bottle, but these are not noticeable and the bottle looks quite classy. It holds about 9 ounces total, wish it was a little bigger. It costs money.

The bottle has a glass base, a fitted silicone rubber spout and a threaded clear plastic cap that screws onto the top of the bottle.
