Great for vinaigrette

The bottle has a glass base, a fitted silicone rubber spout and a threaded clear plastic cap that screws onto the top of the bottle. When the clear lid is screwed on, it presses against the top of the spout and seals airtight. handy bottle holds approx. 5 oz. There is a metric marking (in ml) on the side of the bottle, which makes it easy to mix the oil and vinegar in the correct ratio. You can fill the bottle with oil, vinegar and spices and (if the cap is on) shake the bottle to mix the vinaigrette. The bottle doesn't spill when shaken and the vinaigrette flows nicely through the silicone spout. The bottle looks strong enough. I haven't had any problems with broken lids.
