👌 Harken Finger Medium Sport Classic Review

I bought these to replace the lost ones. The new pair is identical, which I'm happy about. They hold up well after contact with salt water if properly rinsed and dried.

Excellent, durable, high quality gloves. They protect you from the sun and blisters. These are summer gloves only - they do not insulate and do not dry quickly. Also, they definitely run small, so order one size larger than usual.

I bought my first pair in 1991 to use my IP 38's on many trips across Galveston Bay. Also used for strength training. Finally, after 29 years of regular use, it's time for a new pair. I was worried that Harken might have changed the design, but no, it's the same glove - ready for 29 more.

Gloves fit the hand as expected according to the measurements. They are comfortable and fit my speedboat perfectly. After a dozen or so walks, they feel solid. They dry overnight or after a few hours in the sun. 3/4 fingers make sense for my warm water swim. They protect my hands and fingers from snapping but still let me feel the rope. I look forward to wearing it for years to come.

Availability These gloves could be used as guardians when they were actually 3/4 finger gloves. However, they only reached my first knuckles. When I sent them back I was charged extra as if they needed reboxing etc when in fact I only tried them on and sent them back when they didn't fit. I don't recommend it as it's too difficult to buy things like this online.
