I like those braided ties better than the plastic coated ones that always break. They last a long time and survive our cold Minnesota winters and warm summers.

We have two "younger" dogs and metal chains always have heavy clasps. A must for large dogs. Hartz ties are strong without extra strain on the neck. We connect the two for extra length. After a while they dim but they work fine. Good price!

A little disappointed with these ties. We bought two of these and thought they would be perfect for our 15 pound dogs when we went camping. Boy was I wrong. First let me say they are nice and light.
