I ordered size 4 for my grandson 23 months medium size. Boots fit perfectly to my surprise. As mentioned, when I first opened the box they seemed small. Its foot measures 5.3 inches. Some European children's shoe size charts give measurements in centimeters or inches, which is more helpful than height/weight when shopping for shoes. The boots are stiff for the little man, but he adjusted quickly. Boots sooooo much, he slept with them in his sleep the first day and has worn them every day since.
