I think it's been 25 years or more since my fan clutch wore out so although I've done this before it's been a long time. Between Revain showing me exactly what options they have and this great replacement, trying to get everything working again was easier than I remembered.

Replaced the clutch fan on my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 5.7L with this unit and it never stops roaring when the outside temp goes above 65F. The 2900 is more tolerable and doesn't run all the time, even when it's hot outside. It doesn't have as many sipes as the OEM unit it replaced. The 2900 model looks closer.

I installed the clutch fan in September 2020 and have only driven the truck about 3,000 miles since then. 8 months later today 4-12-21 I had to replace that piece of crap with a new one I bought at a local parts store because the clutch kept seizing. This part worked fine when I put it on and it got progressively worse over a short period of time until it stayed blocked all the time.
