Based on my observations, the Hayden Automotive rapid cool thin line fan works great in my car. It's the perfect automotive addition to maintain my engine's temperature and prevent overheating. Its slim design allows it to fit neatly under my hood while still doing an efficient job of cooling my engine. I've used them a few times mainly to replace broken Behr fan drives on Mercedes. They are much quieter and don't rob horsepower like viscous drives and are MUCH cheaper. I've used them both as a pusher and as a puller and have never noticed a difference in performance. But make sure you are comfortable with them. Position before fasteners - they are one-sided.
