As a former GM technician I have installed hundreds of these types of coolers. The first thing I get rid of are the brackets. I have seen many screw terminals fail. I buy fuel system clamps at my local auto parts store. Not sure why the coolers come with 11/32 hose instead of 3/8. I think the best flexibility. Do not use grease on hose connections. Overall, I find Hayden products extremely valuable. I ordered this cooler for industrial use. I am a part-time manufacturer and sometimes need refrigeration parts. Although I mostly use it off-label (non-automotive), I found this cooler to be well built and easy to assemble.
