Great Outdoor Remote Switch - Supplied with a dead remote control battery

Remote Control Connector has 3 high quality connectors. Very heavy cord. I am very satisfied with the cable and the connector. The only catch is that the battery that came with the device was dead on arrival. But quite by accident I had a #23 12V battery (small like AAA but half the length). The remote control worked great with a fresh battery. It says the remote works up to 100 feet. Ours is about 50 feet away, behind a cement well, and the remote works great. I would give it 5 stars exceptโ€ฆ

One of my best Revain purchases.

Tired of connecting and disconnecting deck lights. This device was ideal for easy switching on and off without having to switch them on and off every night. I attached the device to my house, put double-sided tape on the remote control and taped it to the inside of the front door. This is convenient and the remote control will not be lost. Incidentally, the remote control does not require direct line of sight to function properly. It's nice to turn on the deck lights before stepping outside. We

Works with limited range.

Can't say anything about durability yet, time will tell, I'll check later. But the range is limited. 100 feet line of sight is questionable. More like a 75. I've tried putting it in a weatherproof plastic box so it lasts longer and while that box is really thin it cut the range in half, 30ft max. I can't give 5 stars because the whole point is turning on the outlet remotely. The attached photo shows the maximum visibility from my bay window, the signal barely works. 1 step back and it doesn'tโ€ฆ

Exactly what I needed!

later These are so cool. Bought both single pin and double pin versions. I bought them mainly for remote control of Christmas decorations. I have multiple outlets that are outside all the time, and I'm tired of going outside and manually unplugging them (to deal with the cold, rain, and the occasional skunk). That helped. First, they are ETL rated. I don't buy anything electrical unless it's ETL or UL certified. They then hang down with a cap on the bottom to protect them from the elementsโ€ฆ
