Can't say anything about durability yet, time will tell, I'll check later. But the range is limited. 100 feet line of sight is questionable. More like a 75. I've tried putting it in a weatherproof plastic box so it lasts longer and while that box is really thin it cut the range in half, 30ft max. I can't give 5 stars because the whole point is turning on the outlet remotely. The attached photo shows the maximum visibility from my bay window, the signal barely works. 1 step back and it doesn't work. Use for LED pond lighting. Luckily it fits in the bottom outlet and lets me close my weatherproof outlet cover, so that's a good thing.
