Keep it lubricated before and after use.

This is a good nailer. I bought this nail gun for professional use. It is excellent for decking and 1/2 inch thick shingles. I've been using the gun all day every day since May 11, 2019 with no problems or jams. This is a tough nail gun. The weight is great. Does a great job. This gun is worth the money. I think I like it more than my rigid. Delivery in 3 days. I am very happy with my nailer.

Pros
  • Drives 7/8" to 1-3/4" Full Head 11 Gauge Roofing Nails
Cons
  • High Price

Don't oil. - Power & Hand Tools

I have used this product on 2 or 3 projects and had no problems until I filled it with oil. After I oil it, a slider that hits one nail head repeatedly gets stuck in the head of the next nail. Maybe cheap nails, maybe I put 2 drops instead of 1 drop of oil, I don't know. I would recommend the product but do not oil. Also, the oil that comes with the gun has an imperfect design. Once you cut off the drip tip, the bottle will not reseal as there is a hole in the cap that comes with it.

Pros
  • Tool-free depth adjustment helps drive nails correctly; Adjustable shingle guide allows for quick and even positioning of shingles
Cons
  • A newer model could have been chosen

Shop the best product for nailers and staplers

Plunger driving nail head into shingle/lining gets stuck in down position. Once the piston rises again, the weapon fires again. Sometimes it's just a whiff of air, sometimes it's like hitting a nail: there's a little dent, but there's no nail. I had to open and close the door to hammer in a nail. Sometimes two or three before I have to do it again. I used some oil before first use. Re-oiled and a few drops around that pesky pin. Didn't bring anything good.

Pros
  • Selective activation switch allows either series or contact mode
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks
